Jenean Merkel Perelstein
As a Business Anthropologist, Jenean Merkel Perelstein has studied behavior change across many different cultures. From the markets and prisons of India to the boardrooms across America, Jenean has learned and implemented change strategies that have saved lives and made fortunes. She coaches with individuals and teams to stand in their strength and become the powerful, recognized, leaders they’re meant to be.
Jenean has created several programs in Leadership Development and Workplace Culture Enrichment such as Stand in Your Strength Strategies, The Welcoming Abundance Blueprint, Enrich Your Workplace Culture Blueprint, Emotional Intelligence for Professional Leadership, and Strategic Planning for Nonprofits. She mentors organizations worldwide ranging from solopreneurs to Fortune 100 companies and certifies coaches to use her models for their own clientele. True to her home discipline of Anthropology, Jenean takes a holistic approach drawing from the fields of psychology, physiology, neuroscience, sales and marketing, business management, and sociology. Through living and working abroad, she has developed a global perspective that allows her to highlight opportunities for her clients beyond their own norms and traditions.
Jenean is known for being a warm and uplifting champion for her clients. She considers both their inner and outer game while coaching and consulting and is skilled at finding and fixing productivity leaks through identifying hidden beliefs and resistance that get in their way. Her favorite work is guiding clients to grow their workplace culture, develop their leadership skills, and achieve a higher level of positivity, productivity, and profitability.
Jenean received her B.A. from Northern Arizona University where she focused on Sociocultural Anthropology and Business Management with a concentration in Marketing. Her M.A. degree in Medical Anthropology centered around behavior change, organizational systems change, and program evaluation. She taught as adjunct faculty in the Anthropology department at NAU while developing programs and conducting evaluations for local nonprofits. Prior to owning her own consulting company, Jenean worked as CEO for a regional nonprofit organization helping children thrive in their community, and as a co-founder of a technology company yielding 3 U.S. patents.
Scott is a change management specialist who closes the gap between strategy and implementation. His 16 years of experience coaching planners and doers aids in shepherding teams in the same direction – especially in times of change. As developer of leadership programs from within his company, Alchemie Academy, he affects change for others while drawing on his proven systems such as Hiring for Fit, Leadership for the Emerging Professional, and Now I’m in Charge, What does That Mean? His past clients include Northern Arizona University, General Motors, International Sanitary Supply Association, Citizens Financial, and The Clearing House among other prestigious organizations.
Scott has a knack for building rapport with his clients easily and getting to the heart of difficult issues with ease and grace through his use of connecting patterns, behaviors, and concepts. His easily approachable demeanor, along with a keen sense of focus on details from a variety of inputs, leads to lasting results for his clients and the teams he trains. He is at his best when he is helping individuals see their own potential in leading their own teams or direct reports.
Scott received his Business Management degree from Cornell University where he focused on leading teams through the lens of entrepreneurship. He developed the skills, networks, and outlook for developing interrelationships of complex systems with a holistic approach. He draws on these skills as guiding principles in all aspects of his coaching. He has also developed, chaired, and advised several nonprofit organizations in both the public and private sectors where he focused on strategic and succession planning as well as leadership development.
